AmishPassport.com was designed by Cassel Bear, Ltd. A number of considerations went into designing and engineering this site in order to make it as widely accessible and usable as possible. AmishPassport.com is engineered to function in all current release browsers and legacy browsers released within the past five years. It is suitable for browsing with cell phones, PDAs, micro-computers, tablet PCs, and it will function well when accessed using assistive technologies, including screen readers, braille pads and browsers employing user-based style sheets to overcome various visual impairments. AmishPassport.com honors visitors' text size preferences and can accommodate screen zooming as well.

Interesting facts about the Amish (Next Fact)

The Amish start their day at sun up and work diligently until sun down. When daylight savings time changes, the Amish don't bother to change their clocks. They also don't bother with alarm clocks. The rooster starts crowing at daybreak and the shining sun is alarm enough to start the day's work. Similarly, when the sun goes down, there is no need to stay up longer. Gas lamps are lit to finish up dinner dishes, the chores and some homework. In general though, when the sun goes down, the Amish retire from a hard day's work.
