Amish Country Travel Friends and Family referral Program

The Amish Country Travel Member Friends & Family Referral Program (the "Referral Program") is an incentive program that awards a gift certificate to Amish Country Travel members that refer friends, family or colleagues to Amish Country Travel, and who, as a result of such referrals, join Amish Country Travel as Members. Referring Members of Amish Country Travel are instructed to utilize their unique Amish Country Travel member number as their own personal referral code. The referral code gives Amish Country Travel the ability to track who was referred by whom and awards each referring Member accordingly. This promotion cannot be combined with other promotions. Incentive gifts associated with the Referral Program do not represent actual currency or cash value and can only be awarded in certificate form to the Member that successfully made the referral. For every referred person who joins Amish Country Travel as a result of a Member's referral and said referred person used the Member's own personal referral code. Qualifying referrals are those who are not currently active members of Amish Country Travel.

Interesting facts about the Amish (Next Fact)

Worship services are spoken in German and singing is in a Gregorian type chant. Poems are also read from the Ausbund, which is a collection written by Anabaptists while in prison and printed in 1564.

Singing and announcements prelude to two sermons preached by two different preachers. Prayer is offered in a kneeling position with elbows resting on the bench while one preacher prays out loud. Another song ends the service and ushers the women to busily prepare for the noon meal.

After lunch, adults and children go home to take care of the farm chores, while youth congregate to play ball and chat.
